Feministischer Frauentag 2026

The International Women’s Day 2026 has been celebrated today at the Neues Schauspielhaus in Uelzen with the Female Voices Festival. A fine selection of artists presented their repertoire, ranging from comedy, to public reading, to music. All that to the theme of furthering Women equality worldwide.

I have not been a part of the artistic contingent, however, I have designed and painted posters promoting Unser Kleines Stadtatelier and Atelier’s own Brigitte Schulz’s musical performance during the Festival.

The organizers of the event have proved that feminism is by no means a passing trend and Women’s struggles don’t go unnoticed, and they filled the hall with enthusiastic crowd. All the performances were brilliantly realised with a lot of involvement from the audience and the evening was indeed a very pleasant one.
