Winemarkt Project

For the last couple of weeks I have been occupied with my latest project that I’ve created with and for Unser Kleines Stadtatelier für Kreatives Inklusion in Uelzen, NI. This project has finally come to fruition and can be seen on exhibition at the local Winemarkt between 20th June and 5 July. (See here: Winemarkt Uelzen)

The organizers of this year’s Winemarkt have decided to promote the Atelier with their own stand, next to the somewhat famous Gute Bude, a stall offering non-alcoholic beverages, with the revenue going towards Atelier’s needs. The coordination of works and the creation of artworks for the wine table was then offered to me and I must admit I have had tons of fun working alongside of my team at the Atelier and later bringing the artwork symbols and ideas to life. The table eventually stood in the central point of the Winemarkt and served as the background for the official opening ceremony conducted by the Bürgermeister. It will be exhibited there until the 5th of July when the market concludes.

This has also been done in cooperation with Jeży from PopSICKL’art (privately, a husband of mine), who delivered part of the artworks for the table.

I would like to thank all the people who have made it such a joyous experience and helped me go out there in the local community, so Brigitte Schulz and Sybille Kollmeier (the execs of Unser Kleines Stadtatelier) and all the lovely people who engaged with me at the Atelier and Weinmarkt. Here’s to the most inclusive and welcoming community in the region and to many more fun cooperations in the furture!
